Adham Ismail

Dr Ismail is a senior health leader with over 20 years of experience in public health and biomedical engineering. Before taking on the role of Director of Programme Management at the WHO Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean on 1 September 2024, he served as WHO Representative and Head of Mission in Saudi Arabia, a role he had earlier occupied in both Yemen and Iraq.
