In 2003 she became an Associate professor at the University of Jordan, Nursing College. Supervised masters and doctoral students.
She has published several articles related to women's health, the elderly and public health, and three chapters in a book (Nursing Education & Caring for Muslim Patients). Reviewer for several research journals including Eastern Mediterranean Health Journal, WHO; Journal of Advanced Nursing; International Nursing Review.
