Health requirements and restrictions before entering Egypt

Yellow fever Measures

Travelers arriving from areas with a high risk of yellow fever transmission must provide a valid international vaccination certificate against the disease to enter the Arab Republic of Egypt. This requirement applies to all travelers aged 9 months and above. Additionally, transit passengers who have spent more than 12 hours in countries on the list of yellow fever transmission risk must also present a valid vaccination certificate. If the passenger fails to present their international certificate of vaccination, they will be subjected to a mandatory quarantine procedure up to six days from the date of their departure from countries affected by yellow fever disease. This is in accordance with international health regulations and is necessary to prevent the spread of this potentially deadly illness.

South America:

Argentina - Bolivia - Brazil - Colombia - Ecuador - French Guiana - Guyana - Panama - Paraguay - Peru - Suriname - Trinidad and Tobago - Venezuela.

Corona virus COVID-19 Measures

It is highly recommended that all conference participants receive full vaccination against COVID-19. 

 

 

Polio Virus Measures

Those coming from Afghanistan, Malawi, Mozambique, Pakistan, Madagascar, and the Democratic Republic of Congo, whether residents or visitors for periods exceeding 4 weeks, must receive a dose of polio vaccine (either Bivalent oral Sabine or injectable Salk) within a period of 4 weeks to 12 months before travel, with proof of vaccination on an international vaccination certificate.
