Chuanpit Chua-oon

With over 30 years of senior management experience in various countries across Africa and Asia, including several years in Egypt, Dr. Chuanpit Chua-oon brings a wealth of expertise in leadership and technical know-how.

Her areas of specialization encompass health system strengthening, community health including family planning and reproductive health, training, and public-private partnerships, among others.

Dr. Chua-oon has a track record of effectively engaging both public and private stakeholders to ensure project sustainability and enhance the widespread impact of initiatives, fostering adoption by governments, health systems, and communities.

A visionary strategist, she excels at building strong coalitions to achieve project objectives and offers innovative approaches to tackle challenges in service delivery.

Prior to her current role as Chief of Party (COP) for the Strengthening Egypt’s Family Planning Program (SEFPP), Dr. Chua-oon served as Director of the International Division of JSI. Her academic achievements include a doctoral degree in sociology and an MSc in Development Planning.
