Davide De Beni

Davide De Beni joined the UNFPA Asia Pacific Regional Office based in Bangkok in September 2019 as a Health Economics Adviser, providing technical support to the Region on health economics and financing matters concerning UNFPA’s mandate areas. 

Mr, De Beni has more than 20 years of experience developing and supporting economic and financial analyses across Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa, Asia-Pacific, and the Caribbean, and published in peer-reviewed journals.


Before joining UNFPA, Davide worked with the World Bank and other UN agencies developing investment cases, impact evaluations and public financial analyses for maternal, nutrition and sexual and reproductive health programs, including providing strategic advice to governments to identify available fiscal space options.


Mr. De Beni holds a Master’s degree in Development Economics and Policy from the University of Manchester in the UK, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business from the University of Verona, Italy.
