Esmeraldo T.Ilme  is a Graduate of Doctor of Medicine Degree at the Far Eastern University, 1984 Finished the 4-year Residency Training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the De los Santos Medical Center in Quezon City in 1990; Fellow of the Philippine Obstetrics and Gynecology (POGS) in 1995.

Dr. Ilem holds the position of Medical Center Chief II, Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital (February 2, 2016 to present). Head, Family Planning Task Force, POGS, 2022
