Hanan Hamdan

Hanan Hamdan has been appointed as the Representative of the United Nations Refugee Agency, UNHCR, to Egypt and to the League of Arab States in March 2023.

Previously, she was the Representative of UNHCR in Tunisia, and the Head of UNHCR Office in Kuwait.

During her service, she was simultaneously assigned the post and duties of Acting Resident Coordinator for the United Nations Country Team
