Prof Neubauer is an experienced researcher in zoonoses and veterinary public health. His special interest is devoted to BSL 3 agents and their control in human and animal populations. He has gained experience in countries of Europe, America, 

Asia and North Africa as he was and is engaged in expert missions and reviews for 

UN, US-NIH (NIAID), US-ARS, GB, COST, WOAH, EU, DFG, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Czech Republic etc. He holds approx. 320 peer reviewed papers. He is member of Deutsche Veterinärmedizinische Gesellschaft (DVG) and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Hygiene und Mikrobiologie (DGHM).
