Rondi Anderson

Rondi Anderson is a Midwife with a PhD in public health who has worked in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East with strengthening maternal and reproductive health through midwifery. She is currently working with UNFPA in Syria.  Rondi has 40 years of experience with midwifery working clinically, with INGO’s, academic institutions, and the UN.


Rondi’sresearch includes improving quality maternity care through midwives and mentoring in urban and rural settings, midwives in humanitarian settings, midwife led tele-medicine including antenatal and prenatal care and screening for gender based violence, and best practices for establishing a midwifery profession.
