Tej Ram Jat

Tej Ram Jat is Programme Specialist in UNFPA Egypt country office. He is leading the programme cluster on sexual and reproductive health, family planning, population and development and youth empowerment. 

He has over 20 years of experience in planning and management of population and development programmes on sexual and reproductive health, family planning, demographic dividend and youth empowerment in India, Myanmar and Lao Peoples Democratic Republic.

He earned PhD degree in Medical Science from Umea University, Sweden and a master’sdegree in health policy, planning and financing from the London School of Economics and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He has published his research in several national and international peer reviewed scientific journals.
